    Equality Information and Objectives

At St Saviour's Church of England Junior School, we believe that every member of our school community deserves to be treated with dignity, fairness and respect.

Rooted in our Christian values of Consideration, Courage and Community, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where differences are respected, barriers are challenged and everyone has the opportunity to belong and flourish.

We recognise our responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010 and the Public Sector Equality Duty.

In carrying out our functions, we have due regard to the need to:

    • Eliminate unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimisation.

    • Advance equality of opportunity between people who share a protected characteristic and those who do not.

    • Foster good relations between people who share a protected characteristic and those who do not.

We aim to ensure that equality, inclusion and respect are reflected in our curriculum, policies, everyday practice and relationships across the school community.

Our published equality information and objectives explain how we meet our statutory duties, identify priorities for improvement and monitor the impact of our work.
