  • Collective Worship

At St Saviour's, collective worship is an important part of our school life. Rooted in our Christian foundation and guided by our values of Consideration, Courage and Community, worship brings us together to pause, reflect, celebrate and grow.

Our worship is welcoming and inclusive, offering every child, whatever their faith or beliefs, the opportunity to take part, reflect and feel a sense of belonging. Through Bible stories, prayer, music and shared experiences, we explore Christian teachings and consider how we can live out our values in the way we treat ourselves, one another and the wider world.

Our collective worship follows planning from the Diocese of Canterbury, with opportunities for children to contribute through readings, prayers, singing and thoughtful reflection. We encourage curiosity, spiritual growth and the courage to ask questions, whilst showing consideration for the different beliefs and experiences within our school community.

Above all, collective worship helps us strengthen our sense of community, reminding us that we each have a part to play in making St Saviour's a place where everyone belongs, is valued and is encouraged to flourish.
