At St Saviour's Church of England Junior School, our uniform helps children feel a sense of belonging and pride in our school community.
We believe that school uniform should be smart, comfortable, practical and affordable. Families do not need to purchase branded clothing, and items can be bought from supermarkets and other retailers.

Forest green jumper, cardigan, sweatshirt or fleece — plain green or with the school logo
White shirt, or white or green polo shirt (tucked in please)
Grey trousers or grey pleated skirt
Green and white checked summer dress (optional)
Grey, green or black tights, or black or white socks
Plain black school shoes
The St Saviour's logo is entirely optional. Plain green alternatives are equally welcome.
On PE days, children should come to school wearing:
Plain white T-shirt, with or without the school logo
Black or navy-blue shorts
Suitable trainers
A base layer underneath their PE kit in colder weather, if needed
A green school jumper, cardigan, sweatshirt or fleece and/or a coat in colder weather
Football shirts and black hoodies are not part of our PE kit.
Children should wear comfortable, plain black school shoes that are suitable for everyday school activities.
Trainers should be worn for PE. Black trainers are not part of our everyday school uniform.
For safety, school shoes should not have raised heels or soles.
Children may wear a watch and small stud earrings. Other jewellery should not be worn to school.
For PE and swimming, earrings must be removed or taped.
We ask that children do not wear make-up or nail varnish to school.
We recognise and respect individual needs, including those relating to religion, culture and disability. Please speak to us if your child requires an adjustment to our usual uniform expectations.
School-branded clothing is available from:
National Schoolwear Centre
Addington Street, Margate
However, branded items are not compulsory. Families are welcome to purchase plain green uniform and other items from supermarkets, high-street shops or online retailers.
We want school uniform to be affordable and accessible to every family.
Second-hand uniform is available through school. Please contact the school office to enquire about available items.
If purchasing uniform is difficult, please get in touch. We will always do our best to help, and enquiries will be treated sensitively.
Please label all clothing, coats, shoes and PE kit with your child's name so that lost items can be returned easily.
Thank you for helping our children come to school comfortable, ready to learn and proud to belong to St Saviour's.
