At St Saviour's, we believe that a healthy, balanced lunch helps children feel happy, energised and ready to learn.
Children can enjoy a freshly prepared hot school meal or bring a packed lunch from home. We encourage everyone to make healthy choices and enjoy lunchtime together.
Our school meals are provided by Caterlink, who offer a varied and nutritious menu designed to meet the School Food Standards.
Children can choose from a range of meals, including vegetarian options, with vegetables and salads available each day.
A school meal costs £3.48 per day.
Our current menu follows a three-week rotation, with dishes including roast dinners, pasta, curries, fish and vegetarian meals.

Some families may be eligible for free school meals, depending on their circumstances.
We encourage all eligible families to apply, even if their child usually prefers a packed lunch. Registering can also help the school access additional funding through the Pupil Premium, which supports children's learning and wider opportunities.
You can find out more and apply through Kent County Council's Free School Meals service.
If you would like help with an application, please contact our school office. We will be happy to support you.
We want every child to feel safe, included and happy at lunchtime.
If your child has a food allergy, intolerance or medical condition that requires a special diet, Caterlink has a dedicated process for arranging suitable meals.
Parents and carers should complete Caterlink's Online Food Allergy & Intolerance Form (below), providing supporting medical evidence from an NHS healthcare professional.
Caterlink will review the information and assess whether a suitable special diet menu can be provided. Once all the necessary information has been received, this process may take up to four weeks.
While a special diet menu is being arranged, a suitable alternative meal may be available, depending on your child's individual dietary needs. Please speak to the school office before ordering.

Important: Allergen information may change depending on ingredients and suppliers. Families must inform the school of any allergies or changes to dietary requirements and should not rely solely on the published allergen information when choosing meals.
If you have any questions or need support with the process, please contact the school office.
Children are welcome to bring a packed lunch from home.
We encourage families to provide a healthy, balanced lunch that includes a variety of foods, such as sandwiches or other starchy foods, fruit, vegetables and a drink.
Please remember that we are mindful of children with allergies and ask families to follow the school's guidance about foods that should not be brought into school.
If you have any questions about school meals, free school meals or dietary requirements, please contact the school office. We're always happy to help.
