Criminal 'County Lines' gangs are very active in Thanet. Gangs attempt to recruit young people to engage in criminal and sexual activity. Criminals particularly target vulnerable children and children with additional needs / SEND.
Part of our teaching with regard to this activity falls under the 'Contact' theme of online safety. We also have PCSO assembly booked for Term 6.
You will also notice Mr Bonell, Mr Arnold and Mrs Theobald-Grainger on gate duty each day - we do this, in part to deter unwelcome visitors. We have reported drug dealing and suspicious loiterers on a fairly regular basis.
