COVID-19

There are no current Covid 19 restrictions in place for schools.

Most rooms in our school are now equipped with Carbon Dioxide monitors; such monitors give staff a useful prompt to increase airflow inside, this reduces the concentration of airborne virus droplets and lowers the risk of transmission.  Children are still encouraged to wash their hands regularly as this guards against many viral and bacterial infections (including colds and stomach bugs).

If children or adults wish to wear masks, they are absolutely free to do so, but it is not a requirement.

Children are no longer expected to self-isolate if they have a confirmed case of Covid 19.  We would encourage parents to keep children off school if they are seriously unwell - but, unless they are really poorly, we want children in school.
