Online Safety

Online Safety at St. Saviour's

We use the I Compute scheme of work to teach computing; children also learn about staying safe online in other subjects, in assemblies and bespoke sessions.  In the spring term, each year group presented an assembly to families - these sessions were attended by 80% of families.

We organise our teaching around four themes: CONTENT     CONTACT    CONDUCT    COMMERCE

Please visit the 'Curriculum' page under the 'Key Information' tab to view our curriculum documents for computing.

The school's internet access is filtered by RM Safety Net, pages viewed in school and searches carried out are monitored each week by Mr Bonell (DSL and Online Safety Lead) and Jez Hoare (ICT Technician).  Children are only allowed to use internet-connected devices if they can be seen by a supervising adult.
